F.C.A. Admission Timeline & Application Process

At First Christian Academy (FCA), our admissions process is designed to be clear, intentional, and personal. We are honored to partner with families who desire a Christ-centered education for their children.


Step 1: TOUR
Begin your FCA journey by scheduling a group or private tour.
 

During your visit you will:

  • Explore our campus and facilities
  • Meet school leadership and staff
  • Ask questions about our programs and culture
  • Learn about available scholarship opportunities

We encourage every family to experience FCA firsthand before applying.


Step 2: APPLY
After your tour, families may submit an application along with the required documentation:


Required Application Documents:

  • Pastoral Reference Letter (Preferred)
  • School Reference from Administrator OR School Recommendation from Teacher (Required)
  • Most recent report card
  • Most recent standardized test scores
  • Grade placement testing (if required)
  • Any applicable documentation such as IEP, 504 Plan, or diagnostic testing

Application Submission Process:

  • Complete all sections of the online application
  • Review your application on the Application Review screen
  • Click “Complete Review and Submit Application”
  • Submit application and pay the application fee
  • Enter payment information and confirm submission
     

Once all documents are received and processed, the Director and/or Board of Directors will review the application.
 

Families will be notified within 10 business days of one of the following outcomes: 

  • Application Approved & Initial Acceptance (Continue to Step 3)
  • Application Denied


Step 3: FAMILY INTERVIEW & ADMISSION DECISION
After receiving initial acceptance, families will be scheduled for a mandatory family interview.
 

During this meeting:

  • We get to know your family more personally
  • Expectations and school agreements are reviewed
  • Parent and student agreements are presented and discussed
  • Following the interview, families will be notified within 5 business days of one of the following:

Final Acceptance (Continue to Step 4)

  • Acceptance with Placement in the Wait Pool
  • Wait Pool status is valid for the 2026–2027 school year until December 1, 2026
  • Acceptance Deferred (placement on hold due to capacity)
  • Denied (if we are unable to meet the student’s needs or placement is not available)


Step 4: ENROLLMENT & FINANCIAL COMPLETION
 

After final acceptance, families will complete enrollment and financial setup.
 

Required Documents:

  • Birth certificate
  • Florida Immunization Form 680 or Religious Exemption Form 681
  • Florida Health Exam Form 3040 or out-of-state equivalent (within 1 year)
     

Enrollment Process:

  • Complete all sections of the Enrollment Form
  • Review and submit your enrollment application
  • Set up billing information and select a payment plan
  • Once enrollment and financial arrangements are complete, students may begin within approximately 48 hours, in most cases.
  • Tuition is prorated for students who begin mid-year.
